I keep my Herbie in the box when not in use and it does not smell at all. A little ISO and a Q-tip about once a week keeps the bowl looking (and smelling) like new. But no, the lid is far from air tight.

I like the stock whip, however, after years of using my SSV exclusively I did miss the wider inner diameter of the SSV tubing. Combine the two and I think it's step above the standard set-up. I feel like I can take much deeper and fuller lung hits. And I already had both 14mm and 18mm adapters...

a valid point and one I would have to agree with. Also, you should check out amazon for a vac and chamber, with how popular it is becoming for people to make their own extracts the prices for complete set-ups has become very affordable...

I must say, between my Herbie, my dr.dabber pen, and using a TI nail on my Rooster apparatus, I prefer dabs from the Herbie most. I feel it's more efficient ( which is nice cause oil down here can be stupidly expensive ) and I rather take my time to get medicated rather then the punch to the...

I find anything over 390 works well for concentrates. I generally start at 400 and raise the temp 5-10 degrees for each subsequent bag. Just make sure not to load too much at once, a little bit goes a long way.

I've used both my SSV and Herbie to vape keef in, and it's not much of a mess at all if you don't do it too frequently. But nothing a little ISO can't fix.

As much as I love my Herbie, I do still want the new sublimator, more so to hook up to all my bigger glass pieces ( and to get that sweet reclaim lol )

exactly, basically the opposite of when you turn your Herbie on and heat it up, just telling you when it has reached the lowered temperature. Running the fan while turning down the temp will help speed up the process Ahhhh DDave beat me to it

Awesome write up! As much as I love skunk pharm and all his work, it is nice to have it laid out in simpler terms. Just one question, is this method for QWISO or QWET? did you mean when the smell of the ethanol is gone?
