To me the vapor is warm to slightly hot. It is similar to the heat of a smoking a joint but I'd say a touch warmer than that. I've grown to really enjoy the warmth and I was definitely a put ice in the bong kinda guy. I don't know with this device I guess I like to feel the heat.

My opinion is the poke scoop handle needs to be about an inch longer. That is the only complaint my buddy has. The scoop portion works great. That is why I was going the custom route-to get the color I wanted and the length I desired.
