Oh I'm not going to do that (I don't have any issues with whistle), and I agree it could be possible to combust if not careful. I was actually thinking about the strap when I suggested a small piece of cotton. If I were to try it, it would be a very thin wispy piece so as to not create undo...

I wonder if a very small piece of cotton in the bottom of the bamboo would stop the whistle but not impede airflow too much to cause any issue? I don't have any whistle on mine unless I draw really hard, so no issue for me.

It is basically $100 if you buy the HT when when you order your evo. Kit cost goes up by $100 (or at least it did when I ordered).....

Just found out my order has been held up because the charger I ordered from their site is on back order. Of course no one bothered to tell me or give me options (until today when I inquired AGAIN). I could have ordered a charger elsewhere......

Absolutely. It is wonderful with a bubbler should you choose. Personally, I prefer it dry as the every water piece I have ever tried robs some of the flavor, and I don't usually care for that. But it depends on the strain you are using etc.......

I also remove stem when not actively drawing. However, it does not cook the material unless you are drawing the hot air into the stem to heat the material. It just doesn't heat the stem enough to cause conduction heating.

Honestly, I doubt it could be much simpler. The adjustable stem is definitely a feature, allows for different amounts of herb to be used depending on what you are trying to do etc......as far as the wood, it is mostly about aesthetics, although I believe there may be a couple of wood types more...
