Oh my. I received my Ion today. It is spectacular. The perc is so perfectly cut, unlike the perc on my genuine hydrabomb. I just can't believe the quality. It is stunning. Hits incredibly smooth. WOW. Just WOW. I have one nice piece of Zob glass, and a C2 piece that is just ok, but this blows...

I got out my HUGE Crème Brulee torch (it's not that big)....but I want something else as well. I think a Zico will do...... The wood grain on this walnut is gorgeous, and matches my Nano nicely :tup:

Man I am getting some monster vapor this morning. Got out my bigger torch last night and that makes a huge difference.

Agreed ^^^ I sure hope I haven't influenced anyone against the walnut. I have to say, mine is beautiful, and the taste is/was no issue. I wouldn't change mine for the cherry, and I don't think this should even be a factor in deciding to be honest.

Now that I'm getting more dialed in, much better flavor and really no wood taste. Just had a bowl where the vapor was so thick I was certain I combusted. Nope. Might have been thickest I have seen. Unbelievable.

I can't blame you. Every one of those pieces are stunning tome. Can't wait for mine.
