Actually, it is lubed up. Your supposed to put lube on the outside of the mouthpiece stem and a little drop on the inside of the mouthpiece stem.

Same thing happened to me. Gentleman's is not good. The v2 either wastes all your oil in a split second or it makes a huge mess. When it does hit the hit is weak. I would throw them away and buy a ti-KISS cartridge.
