In addition to lower temps,the polyimide sheet is about 5 times thicker on the heating chamber on the INH004. This was mentioned in the XP thread. Most likely the thicker polyimide on the 004 would prevent it from deforming when doing dry runs without a capsule.

I was brave last night and tried using my off gassing unit. I had a sore throat after and still today. Taylor, If cotton is used in the capsule, I think the cotton would block the off gassing from being released through the mouthpiece.

If you fill your capsules with ABV while doing the burn ins, how will you know it's not off gassing potentially harmful vapor?

I don't feel comfortable using the unit as the off gassing smell is horrible. This happened with my first replacement and now again on the second replacement. I did so many burn in sessions on the first that it deformed the heating chamber. That unit still off gasses after about 30 sessions...

Yes, you can use it while it's charging, but if the battery has a low charge, it may need approximately 30 minutes on the charger before starting a session. My replacement should be here tomorrow or Monday.

You are the first one to report a capsule "fell apart" in your hands. I'm not saying I don't believe you, but it sure seems far fetched as you state this happened to 20 of your capsules and I'm still on my first one since early July.
