Advice on keeping the smell down...

In my experience the biggest factor is the specific strain you're vaping. I've had strains that you could use in a small room 20 seconds before a cop walked in, and others that would get you busted in a vast and windy wilderness. Lots of good info in the seed catalogues of breeders, who often...

You're looking at a few months. The main man is, if you look back through the thread, not doing this for profit but for fun & to keep his synapses firing at peak capacity. Worth the wait for sure, but I'd pull the trigger on yer e-nano now if time is a factor.

@unsorted Thanks, that's exactly what I am looking for. Appreciate your help!

    Cheap High Quality Bubbler

Hi all, Does anybody know of a cheap glass bubbler with ground joints for both the mouthpiece and downstem/diffuser? Something like the UFO but with e.g. a 29.2mm joint in the top would be perfect for me, but I can't seem to find one. Yours in throbbing red-eyed bliss, Burt.

    Moldy buds?? help please

The part of the mold you can see is the fruiting body (i.e. containing spores). By the time this part appears, the likelihood is that the entire jar of bud will be permeated with the mycelium, which accounts for the major portion of the mold infection. You really should just turn the lot into...

    Moldy buds?? help please

Long story short, you shouldn't vape it. Bad things can and do happen when you put mold in your lungs. You can instead extract active ingredients using e.g. isopropyl alcohol, filter, and use the extract in a variety of fun ways.

Smoking vs vaping when it comes to pesticides

Are you thinking of this? https://www.theguardian.com/society/2007/jan/12/drugsandalcohol.drugs Bud doesn't have any actual crystals, I believe you're thinking of capitate trichomes. These are soft/sticky. Separately, hydroponic bud does need to be 'flushed' to remove stored nutrients in the...

These are so beautiful, and my poor Solo really needs help with the burdens I impose upon it... Decision made.

The Solo is definitely the least discreet. For your usage scenarios I would recommend you go with the Pax. I've never tried the inh05 so can't comment (looks sweet though), and the Pinnacle pro, while small enough, looks nowhere near as 'generic digital item' as the pax.

Thanks for the reply Doc. I use the stem to scoop up ground bud from a grinder, press it down with my little finger, scoop again, such that there is ~4 millimetres of bud sticking out, then load it into the Solo. I imagine that the muffin-style top is further compressed against the steel. I've...

Chip-chip old spoons. Good to see this handy thread still barrelling along. Just wanted to thank the regulars on here for convincing me to get a Solo. Everyone I share it with buys one of their own. As a consequence, 6 of my friends have stopped smoking completely. Lives are being extended...

Confession time- I don't know if I've just made my way directly to the gutter or this is normal, but I now empty the spent bowl directly into my mouth. On its own, I find the high a bit wrong- kinda speedy and hard to concentrate, and a bit 'subliminal' like anti-depressants. But there's...

Always good advice. My experience has been that it makes no difference at all. The heat is transferred by air as you inhale, rather than by conduction through the metal floor of the oven. More important is the size and packed-ness of the crumbled material, though it ain't hard - I just put in...

Just got my replacement Solo (hurray). No time for extensive thoughts, but I just wanted to let you know that, despite both being genuine M1D2-model vapes, the new one is subtly different from the old one- There is less thread on the screw-on cap bit, i.e. fewer turns required to fix it on. The...

It is communicating I believe. If your kin-folk have been mysteriously disappearing, you'll probably meet them again shortly, and they'll have aged well.

Funnily enough the 'ease of draw' is another reason why I like the Solo so much. I was trying to find a substitute for joints, and the thin-ish mouth piece combined with restricted draw mimics them well. If you are used to pipes/etc., I can see the problem the custom glass solves for sure. Shut...

I'd tried the volcano at the Grey Area and loved it, but it is just a bit cumbersome for my usage. Prior to getting the solo I was considering the Plenty, and to a lesser extent the Pax. In the end the all-glass airway swung it for me, and having tried a (possibly counterfeit) Pax subsequently...

A minute sounds about right to me Burken. The heater is really powerful considering the size and battery power. The LEDs 2-7 go up in 5 degree C intervals, and it is pretty much impossible to get it to drop by more than 1 LED when drawing the vapour (though Sweden in January is the time/place to...

While I'm waiting: I'd tried a few terrible vapes about 10 years ago, but they were a waste of time and herb. Then this December I became tired, finally, of combustion. My lungs were speaking to me. Finding this site made me wonder if the tech had maybe moved on, and after much research I came...

With reference to my post above (22921), I've parcelled my defective Solo up and sent it for an exchange. In the meantime, I shall smoke bongs and marvel at their comparative filthiness. I miss it already.
