Up until recently, that was the Vapcap S, glass body and tip like the OG with a stainless condenser and wood mouthpiece. Best flavor of the whole family, IMHO

It's fine to hit the straight gong without a mouthpiece. If you're only going to go to water occasionally, you can get a Ti-Woody S and a Nona stem to swap out for water sessions. All kinds of possibilities, that's just one of many.....also just get a soft MP, which easily stuffs into most...

I wouldn't recommend lighting the VC whilst in your mouth. So much could go wrong there (torches and other fiery shit). No, the spinning tip can facilitate handling for some people, for others, not so much. I think it depends on your style, dexterity and size of your paws........Bottom line...

I'd be hard pressed to get more clever than that. Simple is beautiful......the only time a VC fails me is when I introduce stupid human tricks into the equation:rockon:

I don't clean the caps, and don't believe that there is a functional reason to. If you're using a low heat flame, you're going to get carbon, which will wipe off with a mild solvent. If, however, you use a torch, then what you are seeing is mostly heat oxidation, which forms a very thin layer...

First, don't bring it to a boil, that will seldom work out well no matter what you are cooking with dairy. If you have a handheld digital cooking thermometer, bring it to about 195-200 Fahrenheit, 93-95 Celsius. Also, a Pyrex measuring cup (they come in all sizes) in a microwave works also...
