You may have the flame on the torch adjusted too high. Try dialing it back so the flame is 1/4" shorter. The torch won't blow itself out and you'll have more control over scorching your herb.

We've never had an issue with plain (w/o O-rings) WPAs expanding and breaking the joint. It's pretty heavy and can absorb a lot of heat before its temperature rises and it expands. The silicone O-rings are really there because the WPA was a little too small without them.

I am pretty sure that the ground end is a standard size. I don't worry at all about that end breaking (or interfering with the stir stick. It's the far end of the J-hook that I am concerned about.

I'm struggling with the FC interface but: We do accept postal money orders. The new stems have exposed magnets as opposed to magnets half hidden by the bowl. We have been selling the new Lotus since March.

The only brick and mortar stores that carry the Lotus are in Northern CA. Other than that it's on-line. On another subject, the new Water Pipe Adapters are here; bright, shiny and the same size as the present Lotus pipe bowl.
