Should be by the end of the month but no guarantees.

I really like the longer stem to make it easier to see the red spot, but it might not be an issue for younger eyes. I don't think the stem length makes any difference with cooling the vapor. By the time the vapor goes through 2-3 inches of stem it's been cooled.

There would be quite a cost difference for a custom ring, $20 or more. What if we supplied the hex wrench to remove the Lotus ring and hot plate and you painted it yourself. Just out of curiosity, what color are you interested in? Is there any interest in the forum for exotic inlays in the...

Sorry guys. The parts still haven't come in. No more predictions from this end until the parts are in hand.

We should have the adapters on sale by Wednesday or Thursday with kits rolling out soon after. I'll give the forum a heads up when it happens.

I thought the same thing early on, until I tried it. With the flame locked in one position you lose a lot of flexibility and you only have inhalation speed to control the heat. Considering that the flame size varies from lighter to lighter & as the fuel gets low & if there are any air...

You can also try soaking it in methanol, that's the alcohol that you can get at the paint department of your local hardware store. Make sure there are no fumes when you use the Lotus again. They're toxic. You can also send a stamped self addressed envelope to Mendocino Therapeutics (check the...

The bowl on the WP adapter is the same size as on the standard Lotus, the vaporcap will be interchangeable between the WP adapter and the standard Lotus stem.

All of the vaporcaps that we sold were baked, with the exception of AGBeer's. That one was a recent paint job that wasn't baked properly. Sorry, my bad. All of the Lotuses that the Vaporstore has in stock have been baked. All the new ones that we will have in stock in the future will be...

As a heads-up, there are crevices in the vapor cap that can collect material over time and are very hard to reach. This won't effect the use of the Lotus but may effect border crossings, though we don't condone the use of any illegal substances in the Lotus. Stocks are thin right now and will...

That's good information and something that can be corrected. The previous batch of vapor caps were made in the summer. It's easy to get rid of the paint smell when its 105 in the shade and the caps are sitting in the sun. We'll add a bake cycle to the painting process in the future.

The waterpipe adapter will have the same sliding fit with the vapor cap that the standard Lotus has but will not have a magnetic lock. We figured that since a waterpipe wouldn't be handled the same as a portable vaporizer it wouldn't need the same type of connection. I agree with Egzoset about...

With all the discussions about heat guns and the Lotus, I decided to try the two together. I am using a Palladin heat gun that can go up to 1100 F. It has a handmade reducer on it that necks down to around 1/4" diameter. I tested it at about 800-900 F at a low fan speed with the nozzle right...

For those of you who asked for a waterpipe adapter. The adapter/bowl is strictly R&D but will be available in the future.

I'm glad that you like the Lotus. It seems to be even more efficient when you use half a scoop. You'll vape it all in one or two tries. We will be selling hot plates and a hex wrench so you can replace the plate yourself if needed. When you get comfortable with the Lotus you should try it...

We will be working on a bowl to fit on a water pipe in the near future. The local smoke shop suggested making one that fits a 14mm ground glass adapter. Any opinions?

We just got the results back from the test lab for nickel testing under normal vaporizing conditions. To get double the amount of nickel fumes that are normally breathed in during a day*, you would have to use the Lotus from 700 to 7000 times per day at normal vaporizing temperatures. We don't...
