"Personally I feel that the Grasshopper hits harder then my $250 desktop vape. There would actually be nothing to gain from boosting the power as it is already extremely powerful by desktop standards."
Yeah, that does seem a bit hyperbolic. I think if I was counting on that being true, I'd...
I don't think the explicitly compared it to a "plug in vaporizer". Or if they did, I can't find it on their IG page. They have said 5 sec. heat up time, and or course some vague stuff about how revolutionary it is.
We may know differently tomorrow, but as of now there is no reason (other than pessimism) to think that their last predictions several weeks ago have changed.
But you can't go wrong with a Solo.
@grokit- where did you hear that? Sounds great to me, but what about people who already paid for an...
If you weren't a backer during the funding period, then no. People who are already backers can stil add to their orders.
No one knows when the release date will be or the price.
Our TDI Jetta has close to 200,000 miles on it, gets better than 40 mpg on the highway, was paid off years ago, and accelerates like a rocket. So if the GH is anything like our VW, I'll be mighty pleased!
Why did no one warn me about that 7 months ago ????
But seriously, I think many backers do think of this like an investment, using a more informal meaning- not that we have an actual stake in the company or are protected by the FTC, just that by helping the company get started we are getting a...
There is no evidence whatsoever at this point that the GH the backers receive will be in any way unfinished or in need of further testing. Of course it is possible that this may be the case.
I know there's the attitude of FC being the final authority on all things vape related, but there is a...
I know some people are really eager to say "I told you so!", but can you at least wait until the whole thing plays out to flaunt your superior knowledge?
I don't think you are a dick. You are frustrated you have to wait so long. I get it. In fact we all get it.
But you didn't even explain why you felt the update was so lame, just vented about your frustrations. I really don't understand why each of these last few updates, none of which indicate...
What's so lame about it? It gives details about several critical parts, information about time frames of receiving them, and includes pictures of the production space (that some people had actually wanted to see). I would have liked to see more pics of parts, though they might well be keeping...
I wish they could get their refunds, so everyone else that went into this with open eyes wouldn't have to hear the whiny bitching.
It's 8:25 in CO while I'm typing this, and it's fairly likely they will have an update posted on July 1st. Not that being a day late on a bi-monthly progress...
They said about a month ago "We’re continuing to shoot for beginning deliveries in late July and early August, but a more likely delivery date for the bulk of the units will be September."
So, no, not really....
No, once the funding ended, no one else could order at that price.
They may well start taking pre orders when it gets closer to release, but it won't be $99.
