    Dealing with addiction

I call it the body adapting to having to make its own endogenous opioids again:lol: as I reach for the toilet paper..... L-Carnitine (over the counter supplement, please use only under physician's advice) can often help, there is even a patent on that now...

    Dealing with addiction

Nope. No craving for the drug whatsoever, just a lot of running to the bathroom, which, given my reaction to opiates, is a huge relief. Its all a matter of perception, as many studies have shown. People sent home from the hospital who go through withdrawal, not knowing what withdrawal is or that...

    Dealing with addiction

What have withdrawl symptoms got to do with addiction? Addiction and physical dependency are completely different states. I hate opiates, sometimes have to take them, become physically dependent on them and am never happier than when I am on the pot (pardon the pun)getting off them. I actually...

    Dealing with addiction

Another consideration with these horrible "withdrawls" may be that they are not withdrawal at all but something far more serious that needs a full medical work up. Cannabis raises the seizure threshold. If you are self medicating with cannabis, and stop suddenly, and have an underlying seizure...

    Dealing with addiction

When my nephew with bvFTD was being ineffectually cycled through rehab, I discovered that there is a sub group of folks who abuse Tagamet, of all things. And pet antibiotics (one of which is apparently worse than Datura)! That convinced me that no matter how much they ban, folks who want to...

    Dealing with addiction

A consideration for individuals who feel that they are "addicted" to the act of vaporizing is that hyperorality may develop as a result of a wide variety of conditions. One, unfortunately, is early stage dementia. The same degeneration of the frontal lobes which can lead to folks drinking...

    Dealing with addiction

Lettuce addiction as a symptom of cancer-is it victims and minerals she craves, or Lactucarium? So many herbs consigned to the dust bin of history: "Jim started investigating which nutrients and minerals were found in lettuce – and realised they were the same ones that your body can be...

    Night Sweats?

I have parsonage turner syndrome and cannabis has significantly reduced my abnormal sweating. Have you had a Quantitative Sudomotor Axon Reflex (Qsart) test yet? Cannabis has significantly improved my nighttime comfort. I used to have to get up and change shirts three or four times a night. I...

    RSO/Phoenix Tears

I like chlorophyll, its one of the constituents that is so useful for my gum health. I think the guy that makes mine goes for about six months in the everclear. But that is to smear it on my gums at bedtime (using a mouth tray works if its too disgusting). Its more of a plant jam after that...

    Newb, experiencing sore throat

Cannabis is an expectorant, and, thus will cause coughing, especially when there is something to expectorate. You may be allergic to some thing in the new vape (glues, plastics off gassing) or you may have strep throat but if it continues do see your doctor.

    Positive post thread

Its not that the dress is super perfect, its just that a cannabis leaf can be in the front window of a department store. I'm old, small things seem I'm just thinking, the more stuff its on, the less likely things like this are to happen...
