my preferred way is to use the 18mm male male adapter w/an ELB. its quick and cleanup is a breeze. its also closer to the heater and the load size can be smaller if you like. the short wpa also works well. i find it takes a bit more bud than the ELB to load so i usually go with the ELB...

check that your heating element is set at the right height. you should get consistent results every time. as far as wpa's for the lsv, i like a 18mm male-male adapter best. its closer to the heating element than any of the other wpa's. the shorty wpa works pretty well though. the long one...
