I had the same issue, it took two overnight charges for mine to show green.

Picked up a focus as my first vape from PIU, charged battery overnight and ran 3-4 burn offs. Now the unit wont power on, it only flashes yellow 8 times when the battery is re-inserted. Any ideas?
