There are more than 13,000 orders (backers+pre)!? Damn, that's a lot more than I thought. There were ~3000 backers, right? Anyone have more exact figures? He said you're in the 2nd half of backer orders, yet you're in the 12,000 range? Unless he's referring to backers+pre as just "backers"...

It was a commercial - the director specifically called it a "promo" on Reddit. I don't think he was trying to pass it off as anything else.

I added a nice Sugru base to the bottom of my D020-D yesterday, and it's just finished setting. Now I don't have to worry about putting it down too hard :D. The distortion from the curved glass on the bottom creates a nice effect when looking at the piece too.

YES! Just got my D020-D! What a fine piece of glass! It feels very solid and weighty :D Can anyone show a pic of how much water I should be filling it with? My guess is to right above the perc. EDIT: Also, any suggestions on how to quickly dry it out for storage after usage?
