    There sure are lots of ways to skin a cat ... and the cat don't like any of them. I found a big cast iron skillet at the thrift store for $2 and cut it in half. I keep half in the freezer when I use the other half. It hard for me to justify spending much money - The plates work good for free.

    I needed a cold plate to help separate sticky rosin from parchment paper. I was dismayed seeing metal plates costing up tp $250. I put a stack of thick ceramic dinner plates in the freezer. They work great! I even used a frozen chainsaw bar - It worked too !

    A pressing question ...

    I am new to pressing rosin and I have a question. When I press bud or bubble hash i get one of 3 outcomes ... Shatter, live resin or a liquid oil that gets stuck to the paper. What do I call the rosin that is liquid and VERY sticky at room temp. ?
