I normally use the whip, but I have blown plenty of bags before at 410 and 420F without any trouble. My abv from bag blowing isn't significantly different from when just using the whip. perhaps a TAD darker, but certainly not a 20 degree difference.

It sounds like to me your unit is malfunctioning...I use mine all the time at 420F and it never gets close to smoke.

The only way I've ever tested mine is that my EQ on 410F extracts basically the same as my Pax at 410F

It is pretty great. Even though I don't have my hopper yet. It is so supple, and the stitching is very neat. Seems like it will last a long time.

I can't say I'm particularly healthy, or a particularly decent person, but I pay my taxes and my bills, and I have no plans of murdering anyone, so I don't see why I should have to stop haha
