It works very well if you have the screen(s) and don't go overboard with your dollop. I've got gooey mica to contend with and I thought I was being careful.

Depends on your torch skills. I've had both but prefer the mica because it took me a while to become comfortable with the torch. The mica is probably a little tougher to clean if you use concentrates, so you should consider that as well.

Agreed on all fronts! Wish I had ordered the caddy and... the FW3 has my Crafty and ESV gathering dust. I decided to try my Crafty last night and the battery was dead. No worries, the FW3 and the Herc to the rescue!

It's that fiddly-ness that has mine collecting dust. I loved it before it drifted out of tolerance and I can't figure out why it started to drift; I never touched the coil. With a new coil, it seems light on heat but it has hot spots that I hadn't had before. For me, quick sessions are required...

In my opinion, the ESV wins on flavor but the Crafty crushes the ESV on effects. The Firewood 3 beats both on flavor and competes competently with the Crafty on effects.

I am totally on-board with allowing a little conjugal time between GH's. However, I'd prefer to halt the process before any serious dick kicking begins.

I took the chicken-shit approach. Rather than make a decision based on specs and metallurgical characteristics, I ordered one of each. Then, may the best GH win! Or, I may just conclude that, in a blind taste test, my only clue is the heft of the device currently jammed in my pie-hole.
