It sounds like you have it figured out. The spring in the bottom cap is a safety mechanism designed to permanently compress if there is a short in your circuit. A short would also create heat.

Yeah exactly. Iso is polar while butane is non polar so they repel each other so when you blast straight into iso the butane basically purges itself off with very little heat in very little time. After the butane has purged off it's into the freezer.

True however ethanol is both polar and non polar so not the best for this application imo. Iso is polar while butane is non polar which is why I blast straight into 99% iso when I'm winterizing a run. I'm still trying to grasp how you are trying to pull the fats from the oil with the ethanol...

I can see why shatter and oil would be more common in shops as they take way less time to make and can't be screwed up as easily.

That's about the consistency I usually make ... maybe a little drier. Shatter likes to explode everywhere and oil gets all over everything so I stick to wax & cookie dough. I can't say how everyone makes it but I leave mine on a griddle at 120 F - 130 F for a few hours and it slowly changes...

Up tech has been using grade 2 titanium wire on their kiss carts as resistance wire so I decided to order a roll of 24ga from amazon. I haven't had a chance to test it out but I'll be using it on my next rda build ... hopefully tomorrow if I can get around to it...
