I got mine yesterday, but I was having issues getting both wires in the positive post. I got frustrated and went with one large fc2000 for now. I am going to drill this biotch out i think next. But so far, I really like this design. :tup:

Sorry for the back to back, I just drilled 2 more sets of blocks this am and again I checked all 4 blocks. My irons slip in each hole both directions with no abnormalities seen and about .010" of play in each hole.. Still not sure what happened yet. :shrug:. Must be slightly larger irons...

They are drilled all the way through so you can have the irons going to the left or right side.

People trying to press larger amounts are using screens and terp tubes and all kinds of filter bags and mesh bags, all still pressing on parchment paper. I have tried screens and bags and for me, I prefer just the parchment alone so far..

I just tried reusing that material from yesterday at 225f and I don't know if the little scuff marks are causing the puck to stick to the material or if the extra heat is the cause or if it's the oil that I could not get off the material, but for me, this stuff does not seem to be reusable...

Yes, I can build the jaws to fit most vises, if you can help me with getting the measurements needed for the specific vise. The first vise you listed, I do not think there is enough room for the bolts with a 2" block in the middle. I would suggest cheaper $100 glue in blocks for that vise...
