    Discontinued ThermoVape

Cool. I have a 3.7v core but I use it with the 6v batteries (I know...I know...). I won't be devastated if I burn it out. It starts producing vapor in 6-7 seconds. I sometimes have to pulse the power to keep the heat in check. Not what you're looking for obviously. Johnny Appleseed should...

Ascent Vaporizer by Da Vinci (pre-sale thread)

Don't want to get too far off topic, but cannabis/marijuana/hemp is a schedule 1 drug in the U.S., but the individual cannabinoids are not necessarily in the same schedule. THC in the form of Marinol is in schedule III, and I don't believe that CBD is scheduled at all (wait for Sativex...)...

    Discontinued ThermoVape

Out of production yes, but not out of stock at a number of resellers, as you're probably aware. A brand new T1 can be had for as little as $150. I'm still not sold on the Cera for my particular needs. I still see a future for my T1s.

    Discontinued Inhalater XP

Does the white XP use white Delrin, or is the color a result of white labels? I may want a white XP someday, and I may want to remove the labels from it, so I don't want it to be black under the labels. Edit: I think I just found the answer to my own question. If you look at the picture on the...

Ascent Vaporizer by Da Vinci (pre-sale thread)

I also believe in basing conclusions on measurable facts, however in the case of the Pax the conclusion that it uses more herb than other vapes was arrived at by consensus. Enough people have used it and made the observation to make it a valid conclusion (IMO). Also one of the reasons people...

    Discontinued Inhalater XP

My PayPal statement (and subsequent bank statement) said "Kush Paradise" also, although at the time of purchase I was less concerned about that and more concerned about the packaging. Most online vape stores promise discreet shipping up front. The eBay seller did not advertise this on the...

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

If you mean that any smell that's already in the air won't go away then yeah... For the most part though, if you clear out any vapor after shutting it off the Pax seems to stop producing odor pretty quickly. I find it has very little smell when not in use.

    Discontinued ThermoVape

The cleaning techniques that Haywood described do work, however like you I have found the cap clogging to be one of the main detractors from the T1 experience. You can clear the holes in the cap the way Haywood described, but it almost has to be done after each hit, otherwise airflow is...

    Discontinued Inhalater XP

I received mine from Kush Paradise on March 3rd and it was the longer 4 hole version. Maybe he just ships what Pharmacor gives him, and in my case they gave him the longer 4 hole version?

    Discontinued Inhalater XP

Got mine from eBay just two days ago, so definitely after you got yours. Four holes, black numbers on a white switch label, 5 1/8 inches from bottom of switch to top of top ring, 3/4 in. switch length, sticker over entire body. I've heated it without material a number of times, no issues. I've...

    Discontinued ThermoVape Evolution

I've tried a number of different things with my Evos (except perhaps the required amount of patience and persistence) and still find them wanting. My current setup is a PTFE mouthpiece with a UFO, inserted directly into the Evo core. I cut down the original Delrin sleeve so it slides over the...

    Discontinued Inhalater XP

Thanks for the good wishes Dreamerr. Yes it is the "old" XP model. It looks just like the one on the left in the picture from post #831

    Discontinued Inhalater XP

I don't carry my T1 around in my pocket very much, but when I do I cannot smell it. I keep it in one of the felt drawstring bags that come with the MFLB (unscrew top of T1 from bottom). I would have to hold the bag up to my nose and sniff real hard in order to smell it. I agree with everything...

    Discontinued Inhalater XP

I can "catch a whiff" of smell from the T1 when it's heating, but it is so mild you really have to try to smell it. I can see how it would be different for the XP, since heat is being applied to the herb chamber directly. On the T1 the heat is in the core below the bowl. You move the heat...

    Discontinued Inhalater XP

Which part of my post do you not agree with Dreamerr? That the T1 and MFLB are stealthy when it comes to odor? That the Pax tends to smell a lot (especially on high)? I don't have my XP yet, so I did not intend to express an opinion on how it smells.

    Discontinued ThermoVape Evolution

I bought the beta packs in September 2012. Have you tried your LV core with 6V batteries or the PA? I suppose I shouldn't recommend it because it's not the official use it was designed for...

    Discontinued ThermoVape Evolution

I didn't send any Evo cores to Thermovape for an upgrade. They sold them (beta packs) for a short period. Here's what I ordered: 1x ThermoVape Evolution High Performance Beta Pack - ONLY Evolution-HP Core 1x ThermoVape T1 Low Voltage Beta Pack - Default Title 1x ThermoVape Evolution High...

    Discontinued Inhalater XP

At the risk of going off-topic, I can recommend the Thermovape T1 if you are looking for a vape "that doesn't smell too much". It is almost pure convection, and heat is only applied to the material when you are drawing on the unit. You can cut the power to the heat source before you're done...

    Discontinued ThermoVape Evolution

I have 3 different Evo cores: original 6V standard, LV regular, and LV high performance. For me the Evo requires even greater adherence to technique and timing than the T1. So much so that I can honestly say I've never gotten the hang of it. I almost returned the original Evo core because I...

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

Thanks HephziBubba - case closed I guess. :) I guess my Onyx was late in the "old version" production and my Cobalt was early in the "new version" production. Interestingly enough they both seem to have the "delayed temp button" light, which seems to have been a recent change.
