@herbivore21 662* for the quartz halo. what are your preferred temps for the SiC dish? and the SiC + Sapphire insert? I'm still dialing in the temp on my SiC + Sapphire. (Currently runnung ~621-631* on an Auber flat coil + Auber RDK200)

^^^ @herbivore21, thank you for your observant eye. After soaking the locking nut and sapphire insert in ISO overnight, and then using an uber fine plastic dental pick, I was able to unstick the insert from the nut. The Sapphire insert now sits proudly atop the dish of SiC! WOO-HOO!
