I use my Motar every day and absolutely love it. One of the differences that I have found between the Sai, the Quest and the Motar is the Sai and the QQ take a longer preheat time because the glass/quartz bowl is much thicker than the Motar. The Motar is very quick to heat up and cool down...

We are on the same path, my friend. I am using the same 4 battery mod except I run mine at 20w. I also use a whip with mine. That huge battery pack and a whip make it a perfect table top setup. I still use mine every day. I's my daily go to for rosin.

All this chatter seeds the desire for a DIY digital cord. Shouldn't bee too hard to correlate wattage draw to approximate temp. A small, LED screen, a pot, a small case....... I'm surprised no one has done this already.
