Just got some 20 gauge SS316L in yesterday. Made some coils 9 wraps with 4mm ID. Like swapping the family sedan engine with a big block. Just pumps out the heat but chews through battery power in the process. They don't seem to be the most efficient even with a 3 battery mod but they pump the steam.

True story! And mine was even more because I'm impatient. I bought the stem, paid for shipping, had it sent to a US forwarding address. Paid Duty, Paid to have it clear customs to a Canada warehouse and then paid them to ship it to me. At least everything was 30% off when I originally purchased...

Thanks for the great review! For someone who has an iHeat already paired with a DnaC would you say performance wise it's a similar experience but with a vastly improved form factor ? Or is there an improvement in performance as well by removing the 510 ?

They both play a roll in cooling, not sure what carries more weight though. If you had a cool stem to start with the thicker glass could be the winner but an already warm stem the dimples not only act as heat syncs but they also extend the vapour path, so winner might go to dimples. What I can...

Hmmm I have 5 dimples on my thick glass XL8R and 3 on my thinner glassed jr.

Yeah The Xl8r stems seem about 3 times thicker than the MPL ones. Xl8r is super durable I drop it ALL THE TIME :science: But I do like the smaller diameter of the MPL ones and I find they restrict airflow more which helps me as my lungs always wanna pull like every draw is my last draw. Still...
