The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

No apology needed. I know I come off crass at times. Character flaw... My oven has gotten so dirty from using my mighty as a cloud that I've had to resort to scraping it out with a knife. Obviously I scratched it all to hell but it doesn't effect performance.

    The Herbalizer

I purchased a solid valve after all the glowing recommendations in this thread. But I purchased it for my volcano. I had previously been using the easy valve. It is really nice but I don't think I would be using it on the plastic herbie. The volcano has a completely different design to...

My solid valve will leak from the slits if its cold and the valve isn't working smoothly. That happens to me since I keep mine in the garage and it's winter. After the first bag it warms up and no longer leaks.

a Just electrical power systems and coding. And human nature. I never said everyone that perceive they have a problem is wrong. But it's my opinion that many devices are being sent back for a checkup that have nothing wrong with them. This isn't specific to just S&B. I see it in many...

It doesn't have a true pass through for power. If you completely discharge it it will require a slight charge before it will function. It's just the way it is. Thankfully a minute or two on the charger is enough to get it past the threshold. If your sending it back for this reason I think your...

Don't forget there is also the vapelog app for osx. That is what I use to control my crafty. http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/the-crafty-by-storz-bickel.15984/page-110#post-715614

The volcano has a really strong pump. It fills the stock bags in 30 seconds. It has enough power to percolate a very restrictive water pipe setup.

How long do you expect a portable vaporizer to last? I expect my iPhone to last two years until my next upgrade. Honestly if my mighty or crafty lasts two or three years I will be satisfied. Portable devices aren't held to the same longevity standards as home devices in my opinion.

No it connects the easy valve to a bubbler using a gong. It doesn't work much better then holding the valve straight to the bubbler.

I can honestly only imagine some of the questions they are getting. I bet some are quite humorous. :)

As far as I know anyone that has had a legitimate issue with their device has been dealt with in a timely fashion. I'm sure that is where they are focusing their resources.

I'm betting they modify the case slightly and reinforce that area. It is definitely not due to hardened resin. I also don't think it's heat related. They simply made the case to thin in that area and it can't stand up to the stress that attaching and removing the cooling unit can generate...

I finally got to try Sasquatch_Jr's vapelog app today. My 4 year old macbook pro didn't support it but an inexpensive bt adapter got it up to speed. The app works great and I appreciate him going to the trouble of creating it.

One tip I have to keep from cracking your case is to press down firmly on the cooling unit towards the o ring as your rotating it into place. The more you compress the o ring the less force the case has to endure.

The mighty seems to be the better bet for sure. But I'm loving my crafty none the less. :)

How water actually works pretty well because it melts the hardened gunk. I use a toothbrush and hot water to clean mine. The grinder is vulnerable to solvents like iso and will "cloud up" if you leave in iso for more then a few moments.

I've never seen a S&B device that is capable of combustion. If yours truly is producing fire then I'd send it in for service. I've torn a o ring also by not having it fully seated. I use the orange pick to get it into place now and no more problems.

Speculation about how vapour clouds form

I'd love to see a video of either one producing comparable vapor.

Speculation about how vapour clouds form

I'm showing it's maximum potential. You can use less material or less heat and take it down a notch if desired.

Can the firefly or minivap produce vapor like this?
