To counterpoint both my crafty and mighty are running flawless. Sorry some of you are having issues but I believe you are in the monolrity. I have several friends with units as well and they have also had no problems.

The volcano can be extremely harsh and dry if you turn the heat up to high with to much herb in the chamber. I'd say back it down some and try again.

I received my vapefiend glass adapter. It is "ok" but not great. To get it to work you must use the cut screen over the bowl method. I'll post pics and a full review soon.

The way I make them the adhesive doesn't get hot. It doesn't off gas any more then other random stuff you might share a space with. It doesn't come detached. The original which has been used and abused thousands of times still works great.

I fly with my mighty. I put it in a freezer bag and put it in my carry on luggage. Never any questions about it.

I've been using my Mighty heavily since November with no problems. My crafty at 32 hours is also running great. Just saying. :)

You just need to be careful when putting it back together. I am using my original orings since I got it last year.

The washer trick looks pretty good. I tried something similar some time ago but I used a stack of washers and packed the herb in center. They sinked up to much heat and it wasn't effective. I will try your method.

It's funny you feel the need to update my mod with a method you haven't even tested. Please remove the name muzzmod from your post. My method has been tested since last year by several people and has proven to be reliable. Use whatever glue you want but this is hardly an update to my mod.

For routine cleaning I dunk mine in straight iso and rinse with hot water. So far no issues after countless cleanings. When I initially made it I cleaned the parts with dish detergent and water.

I can also point out that the muzzmod adapter does not get very hot on the exterior surface. Never is it uncomfortable to touch. Well below 300 or even 150 degrees fahrenheit. My way isn't the only way but I again say it works just fine. I'm sorry yours broke.

JB Weld works great. But do as you wish. But please don't negate my experience when yours is somewhat limited. To me it feels like you are somehow trying to "make it better:. Which is fine but there is nothing wrong with how I have instructed folks to make them. You just didn't quite get it...

I don't think any vapor can condensate within the heater because it is so hot. Anything that tries to cling to the walls will be instantly vaporized. Like how a mflb screen stays clean.
