actually the material is very soft and if you do it in a bowl of water it makes sliding the tubes in and out easier, its just some tubing material from my HI vape. i find the draw on most portables to be too milkshaky to be fully enjoyed on a bong. imo

honestly i only hit the pax with water for vids just to show off the pax power. i almost never use it with water at home.

well thats the purpose of warming the unit up first. its soften up all the oils and stuff, so wiping it away is a breeze. plus you can easily look straight through the airway to see if you missed anything. but normally 1 pass with the pipe cleaner is enough, also i don't like to do the back and...

normally i heat mine for a min or so to warm things up then set back on charger to turn off then i start cleaning. there is no way for the cotton to catch fire if thats what your worried about.

i do the hot cleaning method, the cotton doesn't burn but the oils may make some smoke but its not from cotton burning. joe is completely right. the pax is so crazy easy to clean when hot. no iso is really needed to clean the unit itself. the mouthpiece i do soak in iso though.

yeah i think mine could be 1/2" too, once its on it grabs on tight, which i really like. i'll post a break down of my adapter in the morning.

honestly not sure. just had some really stretchy tubing from my HI. i just remembered i have this little glass adapter i just had to try out, works pretty well. i will take more detailed pics of the adapter in the morning.

i'm the opposite, i'm always using it at my desk. bub on desk, left hand on bowl and other hand holding vape. plus i'm clumsy when i'm high so i don't wanna risk dropping it. that removeable mouthpiece idea sounds like a good way to solve the long/short mouthpiece debate.
