It won't peel, but over time the color will probably rub off in places you usually touch it.

I've wondered this, but I highly doubt the the mouthpiece would be wider than the body of the grasshopper with the clip. My only concern is that if it's close and the mouthpiece falls off while pulling out the grasshopper it might be difficult to get out without a tool.

Nah it's just that the ti version is closer to the viewer, and the fact that it covers up part of the ss version, creating the illusion that the ti is wider.

Thanks for the reply Buzz! No worries about not having dropped it in iso yet. I take that as it needs little maintainence so that's good. It doesn't really bother me that you have to click it twice, but it's good to know ahead of time that you do.
