I have both the Pax and FF... Get both , b/c there will be a pro about one and a cone about the other, blah blah...but in my opinion the FF is the better one, if you had to choose one. I haven't picked up my Pax since I bought FF...(you can buy mine :nod:) After more testing, I am now settled...

It already fits almost flush...that's why its so beautiful...you can wedge the basket in the lid, but it makes the basket uneven.. what you wanna do is cut and size a screen to "seal" your "pinch" inside the basket... after someone gave me the idea to cut the screen...I went back to a "naked"...

Like I said in the first post, I believe I'm done w/ mods...there's nothing else to improve at this point..its the perfect solution for no mess, evenly spent herb, on the go portabilty swaping bowls..and you can slim down amount (.1 of med grind) you are right about that sir, no more bits...

I understand why they don't have a screen. The ingenuity of the unit/lid is very easy to clean as it is...the space capsule method just has no mess whatsoever

I have found no downside to this method... space capsules:chill: (dome screen) have solved it all. I am also using .1 w/o a top screen now... I've also removed the bottom screen like rsqemt911 said, which now it does fit "flush" ..the vapor it produces is unmatched... throw a space capsule in...

Your unit is defective...email firefly for replacement..my first one (silver) did the same thing..my 2nd one (red) no problems...ur unit is probably not fully charging the battery
