Just at the green light works perfectly with the ice-pinch. I usually go a little higher when using the mw bowls though.

Basically, when you turn the machine off the chamber remains hot. You should put the bowl in the machine only right before you use it and take it out right after to avoid any unnecessary vaporization.

I rarely use an entire bowl in one session. Just make sure not to leave your herb in the machine and you can use it for as long as you want.
