In the beginning SCS had really fine screens and they got a lot of complaints so they changed the screen. I have both versions. My favourite pollen screens are old SCS and space case.

Hell yeah matte green is so nice, wish that was in stock when I last ordered! I don't like the pollen screens at all in the later gen shredders, way too coarse. I'm tempted to buy another of these small black medical use only shredders since they seem to some of the last stock of old design...
