I used olive oil. I also use the alcohol extracted stuff that I've recycled from my pieces and screens that I dumped in and allowed to fume off. Haven't quite got the dosage down yet, the flavor is interesting. Plain old ABVs sautéed in oil make excellent fried eggs and single heaping teaspoon...
