    The Grasshopper

I guess there would be no "upside down" per se with a grasshopper. I've got a solo, and am always careful to hold it what feels like "upside down", to prevent loose bits from falling onto the oven. With the grasshopper, I guess I won't have to worry about that as much (if at all.) By the way...

    The Grasshopper

Thanks, that exactly the feedback I was looking for! I was also looking at the PNWT, but I was concerned that the grasshopper would need to be nearly upside down while using it, and depending on how snugly it fit, might be liable to slip out. How big is the one from Kathy? What do you think...

    The Grasshopper

It is small and cute. Not much volume to fill, either. I wonder about durability and the fact that it is a tree type (which some have said was less desirable.)

    The Grasshopper

I found this 14mm bubbler which looks like it would work with a grasshopper without an adapter. I don't know much about these, so I'd welcome advice, opinions, or alternative suggestions...

    The Grasshopper

Yes, please! If the grasshopper team used their connections to source some right sized bubblers, ideally with a built-in silicon adapter so one could just pop the grasshopper in without the mouthpiece, I'd totally add it to my order. I bet a lot of people would. That would be a killer...

    The Grasshopper

I ordered one a stainless steel grasshopper. While I wait, I might as well order a bubbler as well. Can anyone recommend a good, but relatively inexpensive one that will be a good match? Ideally, one which won't need an adaptor?

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

Tried Hops and chamomile. Both work great.

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

Yeah, probably... Before the iPhone, there was Newton. Before Macintosh, there was Lisa. Before that, there was Apple III. Before Firefly V2, there was...

    Hmm, I guess I didn't drink the kool-aid.

Same here. Especially after my experience with the Firefly. Although its not so bad, its probably not worth such a huge premium over a solo, for example. Especially not "version 1.0" I'd prefer to hang back and keep on eye on this space. Who knows: maybe after a few other vaporizers come...

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

So, you'd sooner buy a second firefly than upgrade yours, if they offered you the option? Personally, I don't think I need two firefly's. If version 2 was a massive improvement over everything else like it, I might buy one. But I'd be pissed that they didn't offer an upgrade. Early adopters...

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

Not really, unless they allow current owners to upgrade somehow.

    Arizer Solo

These work great for storing ground flowers. This size will hold a bowl or two: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CVC4HKY/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 These are bigger...

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

The solo bowl does get hot from conduction, but it don't think it is nearly hot enough to produce vapor. That only seems to happen when I draw heated air through the stem. Therefore, I'd say that the bulk of vapor production is due to convection. As to taste, I've never achieved better taste...

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

I agree that the FF has advantages. Stealth, portability, speed and it definitely looks cooler. I'm keeping mine for sure. I can actually use it fine, myself. But when I share with my wife, the solo works better. As for cleaning, you are right that the solo stems need a soak occasionally...

    Discontinued The Firefly Vaporizer

Yeah, I feel your pain. Sometimes, a good hit, sometimes weak, sometimes popcorn. And I dreaded having to clean it, too. I got a solo, and now my Firefly is gathering dust. I start at 2 or 3, and finish at 4. Just hit it now at 4: smooth as a baby's bottom with visible clouds. No technique...

Maybe black is easier to keep clean. However, my wife wanted the silver, too.

    Arizer Solo

I tried adding some grated lime zest. Very tasty, and more mellow than I expected. I hear that lime oil has some psychoactive effect. Like it counteracts some of the negative effects of THC. Not sure if that's true, but I was vaping Harlequin at the time anyway. Maybe I felt more relaxed...

    Arizer Solo

I usually pull the stem away from the oven a bit, until it hits some resistance. About 1/8 to 1/4 inch. It still stays in the solo, but hopefully not cooking as much. Then I take one last hit just to be sure. Anyway, it doesn't taste that bad upon reheating. Personally, I'm not having any...

    Discontinued Elevape SV

Fair enough. I'd still want an easier way to swap herb blends. Some kind of capsules system or retrofit using stems or screens or what have you. That was also one of my gripes about the firefly. This sounds like a firefly with better temperature control, no heat up period, and no need to...
