Just get something tried and tested, and "idiot proof". Like a solo. It has a lot of flaws, but I use it every day because I can consistently get adequate results without a lot of trouble, and it never lets me down. My firefly, which was more expensive, and looks much nicer and cooler, sits...

Cool. Those guys are awesome! Oh...just read the rest of the thread. Thank god the mouthpiece can still be used as an adapter. If you had something that would stay in the Bubbler, and not come out when you tried to pull the grasshopper out, that would be perfect for me. I think I'd probably...

    The Grasshopper

People have told me (and I think they are correct) that you really only need cooling and hydration, as the vapor won't be harsh. You don't want to loose the original flavor, just make it easier to hit. Ratchet (spelling?) suggested a basic D020...

It comes with a leather sleeve? Is that the only TI model, or both types?

Are you kidding? It doesn't come with a battery installed??? If that's true, there's going to be a LOT of pissed off people (myself included!)

I don't think anything made of metal would work as well as some hemp mesh. What could be more natural than that? The trick would be making them. Some genius will figure it out.

As far as I am concerned, they still haven't worked the kinks out of the solo, but I had eyes open, and I wasn't surprised to experience them, myself. I still use it, but I'll hopefully use it less after I get my grasshopper. :-)

I think tea bags are sewn.

yeah, I want it tomorrow! I think if the herb was shredded not too finely, it would work, but you wouldn't want to pack it too tightly. We need a mass market vaporizer that is full convection and low draw resistance, to establish it's form factor as a standard. Then, these aftermarket...

I don't think you'd need to seal them per-se: maybe folded would be enough. If you really wanted to seal them, maybe a little bit of MJ wax or Resin "glue". Have a little folder machine, put the fabric in, some grind, a little dab of resin, turn the crank, bob's your uncle. That's a lot of...

Exactly! I still drink loose leaf tea and grind my own coffee. But I use the pods and tea bags, too. I used to have an Espresso maker that could take both pods and loose ground. It would be so cool if I could do the same with my Grasshopper!

    The Grasshopper

Well, you could have a little airtight canister with several "pods" filled with pre-ground herb, like the kind they do for coffee in Europe (see below.) The pod could be pure, unbleached cellulose of some kind, loosely woven so as not to significantly increase draw resistance, which shouldn't...

    The Grasshopper

Pre-ground. Wouldn't it be cool if it were possible to purchase pre-ground and packed herbs, in the same way that you can buy Nespresso and K-cups now? I'm thinking little grasshopper sized and shaped doses of herb in a blister pack, in such a way that you could just break the seal and pop it...

I was going to use mine with a bong, if I want to try it at a higher temperature. So, I'm sticking to SS and applying the savings towards some new glass. I'm curious: if one used it with a bong, is there any danger of the unit, itself, overheating and potentially becoming damaged or combusting?

Hi, Do you think there would be an advantage to the honeycomb you recommended over the this "daisy" type for use with a grasshopper? http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/two-function-water-pipe-glass-bong-with-new/213565412.html

I wonder if the grasshopper would still need the Silicon mothpiece if one used an 18 to 14mm silicon adapter?

It looks like the Aladdin one has a male joint. If so, you'd need to buy an adapter.

Actually, the grasshopper looks like the perfect shape and size to plug into the top of a bubbler, in case I want to vape through water.

Some solo stems are curved. Then, with the solo sitting on top, it looks like a hamster water feeder.
