Thats too big for the Grasshopper. The hopper's custom battery is a 12630 cell. That's 12mm diameter, 63mm length. The battery you linked to is a 14650 cell.

It sounds like it's a torch problem. Try bumping it up a notch and see if that solves the problem. If not, purge the torch. If that doesn't work you might need a new torch. Now that I think about it, I usually ignite my torches upside down. You could try that. And the angled intake will work...

You're welcome! I think you will have better success with the M. I haven't used one but it sounds very similar to the Ti tip, but with a slower, more gentle heating. I would think this makes it easier to dial in low temps. Make sure to post here with your results, and let me know if I can help...
