Honestly, if you find yourself prone to breaking rather expensive glass, you may want to check out the cheap bubbler thread. A decent piece of Chinese glass can be had for less than 50 dollars, and it certainly softens the blow should you break it :2c:

Don't know if this is entirely accurate, the preorders are only authorizing a future purhcase, it is not a purchase in and of itself. Thus paypal protection should begin to apply when VXL actually charges you/ships your unit. Wouldn't really call this bragging IMO..., people have been dying for...

It depends on how long the unit has been on for, but after say 30 mins the top plate should be hot to the point it can't be touched for more than a second.
