Well this cool little thing is even smaller than I imagined. Like the first vapcap I got, that surprise of how small it was in my hand—how can something so small be so good? Works amazingly, best $3 spent in a while. Getting along well with Blue Mountain Fire this morning. (by the way it’s “she”)

I don’t think the OG glass is cross-compatible with any of the later versions. Except possibly the cap. (And the rubber mouthpiece)

Hey @stark1, would you share where you found that turtle? Thanks

OR, a 14mm female to 10mm female glass adaptor, and then set the mouthpiece right on it. It’s not as secure an attachment as a vong, but it works just fine @stark1, that’ll be ma’am to you, sir;)

Have you got a condenser inside the glass stem? I thought I saw an x-ring. If so, can you say why? Thx

My experience with the Omni condenser, used both in a carbon fiber stem, and in the titanium Omni stem, it that you can almost completely close off the airport, but some air still comes through. Less in the CF stem because it has a smaller airport than the Omni stem. In contrast, the glass...

Something inspired me to get the e-nano out, and here’s what I learned: a vapcap is a great “cleanup” after a convection. I can’t get ABV much darker than straw-colored without the nano’s vapor feeling uncomfortably hot in my throat. But that light ABV has another round or two in a vapcap, to...

State-side Makers and wannabe makers: I have a handful of exotic wood “pen blanks”—sticks approximately 1” square by about 5-6” long, that I am looking to rehome. (Don’t want to deal with international shipping.) If you’ve been wanting to try your hand at making vapcap stems (or, I suppose...

Ugly but effective. Tubing from DDave mods, taster that didn’t fit a vapcap tip as mouthpiece. Enjoying green crack

Seconded. Great both thru water (Sneaky Pete’s globe, in my case), or as a carbless glass stem, dry.

Amazon. At the time, it was around $3. They’ve increased, not sure why. https://www.amazon.com/Lamotte-0242-Glass-Diameter-Length/dp/B013V6HOEE And plastic caps like these (but cheaper..don’t have Time to search now)...

Don’t have one, but I believe it was @Winegums hundreds of pages back who said cedar would dry herbs out really quickly (aside from the smell issue). I’m sure dynavap would send out the one you ordered if you let them know the error.

I like it better in the CF stem. Love the looks of the Omni stem, and the ergonomics. But it’s a bit too open even fully choked.

Is the mouthpiece backing itself out? Push it back in if so

I found that removing the condenser and seeing how it worked made the whole thing make more sense. Turning the mouthpiece counter clockwise (unscrewing the connection and thereby lengthening the condenser) pushes the condenser towards/into the tip and reduces airflow. I use it screwed all the...

I recently switched out my Omni condenser from a carbon fiber stem to the Omni stem. Had not anticipated that at the same setting (closed as far as possible), the CF would be more restricted, but makes sense because the airport on the CF is quite a bit smaller. Just sharing info gleaned from...
