I just got a knockoff Sub Buddy made from Oregon Glass Blower. I had him add a drop down and one of his nice cleaning stoppers to it and used my own collection jar. I'll post a photo of it too when I finally clean up my controller pics tonight.

The first relay might provide power to the microcontroller when you push the knob down and the second relay is used to provide power to the heater.

I'll open up my controller tonight and try to get some better photos. The board has a barrel jack connector on one end to receive power from the transformer and the XLR cable comes out the other side. The knob is attached to a rotary encoder that sends the signal to the AT89LP51. Let me know...

I'm pretty certain it would be easier to start from scratch to develop a controller without a timer. Using one of the Arduino or Raspberry Pi boards to control a variable voltage relay to apply power to the heater wouldn't be hard. I don't know the heater specs though.

I use full power to clean my nails. I accidentally left it on high and dropped in a elb. It hit like a hammer and didn't combust, but it was incredibly close and I only took one draw. I would say the power is easily there if you aren't paying attention.

The Controller came in yesterday and I can confirm this thing is a flower beast when you have adjustable temp. Wow! The flavor is great when using lower temps, and being able to crank it up a notch for 1 hit extraction is nice. I've been struggling with the screens. I think I'm just going to...

My control unit is finally on it's way back to me. I can't wait to see how this thing works when you can adjust the temp and you're not on the verge of combusting everything.

So I have to ship the Controller back today. Nothing like having to pay to ship it back to Canada after using it 3 times. Great 3 times though. I wonder when the new digital display unit is coming out?

I have a Ti Apollo. I think my control unit is stuck on high and it is always on, even when the light isn't. I'm letting everything cool down right now and I'm going to test my theory. I'm going to email support anyway. Hopefully they can get a replacement out sooner rather than later.

I'm ordering an infrared thermometer today. This thing is eye opening though.

So my Sub came in yesterday and I'm starting my initial learning phase. Are there units that run much hotter? I only am at a 1 and it's producing thick clouds and I might be on the verge of combusting. The AVB it puts out is much darker that my EVO ever did.

Did anyone from the US order direct from Sublimator? How long did it take them to get the order shipped?
