When I hike through Chicago winters, I alway carry my battery vapes in a pocket in my base layers so the batteries stay warm next to my body. I used to heat my PAX up in the pocket of my mitten so it did double duty as a hand warmer too.

Best bet would be to find someone who works with Damascus, Mokume Gane, or Timascus on a regular basis and have them make the parts in small batches since the tooling cost is the pain point.

My Ti heat anodized when I first got it. I've stripped it off a few times and it hasn't affected taste for me.

I think it's a relatively common piece of lab glass so it's made to be durable and cheap to replace.

I only get one side of my tube clogged after several months. It's so much cleaner and tastier. I still get tons of sublimate in the bottom of my base launcher, it's just a little dirty.

I've had an Evo for two or three years now and it's in a box. It worked very well, but between the basket screens and my crummy hydratube, it just became work. If I have a very tasty strain, I might break out the dry tube for a day or two, but the sublimator still is my daily. It hits harder...

I don't think plastic will change much at all. It's the carb and less air restriction that makes it a winner for me.

If you're a bong smoker, try this. I took the top of my 12" glass tube and added a choke tier to the bottom of my base launcher. It allows me to hit it like a bong and when I release the choke to clear it's a blast to the lungs. I'll take a photo when I get home.

I use my XLR2.0 at 5 all the time and it works well. My AVB is a medium brown. I think everyone's controller and setup is slightly different.

I went through a few until I got one that works 100%. One was stuck on full blast even if I never hit the power button. A different one never turned on from the factory. And my third one blew a fuse inside. They were pretty great on getting replacements out to me.
