Really sounds like a defective unit. That awesomeness you get from time to time.....THAT'S the DaVinci we all know and love. The weak hits sound like something is wrong. I can put the smallest nugget in the oven and get a few good clouds. Try a chunkier grind, that may solve your clogging issues.

I use a fine, dry grind but always put a little nugget on top so the fine grind doesn't fill the screen.

LOVE the stash box. With a fine grind you can pack a good amount in there and it's easy transfer from box to oven. I was hoping they would extend the stash box technology to the Ascent but I don't think it happened.

The DaVinci team are true professionals that actually care about their customers. I will have no fear in buying the Ascent on release day knowing they'll help work through any bugs.......if there are any. The Davinci has been my daily driver for months now with no issues whatsoever.
