    Da Buddha

Has anyone else had this happen to them? Thankfully, no one was injured, but another inch of follow-through and I would have needed some serious stitches. The jar is just two months old. It came for free with my blemished Da Buddha. Will 7th Floor replace it? Even if they did, I might be...

    Discontinued herbalAire

I was saying exactly this to my partner this morning, and we both agreed that if the cream of the crop retailers can provide this kind of service, there isn't any excuse for someone who is competing in this product segment not to be able to do the same.

Sticky fingers and surfaces from hash oil

I also wash my hands with coconut oil, with some baking soda for abrasion. I rinse my hands and then wash them again with soap. It is the only thing that seems to get this junk off of them.

That's not a Tandy, this is a Tandy. I have one in my living room, and it still works today :D.

    Discontinued herbalAire

@cybrguy - I appreciate what you're saying. I normally have a "three strike rule" when dealing with most companies (or situations in general, really). In this case, I think my reluctance to do business with them again has to do with the fact that I was royally screwed over by the folks at...

    Discontinued herbalAire

For the sake of clarity, I have not bothered to re-contact HerbalAire yet. I will see what PlanetVape have to say, and then contact HerbalAire after that if it proves necessary. The unit has not been tampered with in any way, and the box was marked "Warranty". As I said, I suspect they simply...

    Arizer Solo

I have always had extreme paranoia about this as well, even way back in high school when no one seemed to give a shit. Now that I have my card, and a diagnosed condition for which I am medicating, I plan on taking my Solo out and about once a while. Like any fear, it is probably best faced...

    Discontinued herbalAire

I decided to fire off an e-mail to PlanetVape, outlining my above experience. Maybe they will step up to the plate and provide me with a new unit where HerbalAire themselves failed. This was purchased in May of 2013, so it is just over a year old, still under warranty, and it was defective out...

    Discontinued herbalAire

I recently underwent the process of returning my HerbalAire to the manufacturer, and the entire experience has left me thoroughly unimpressed. After several e-mails were exchanged between us, detailing the problem (my unit emits an extremely loud buzzing / ticking / humming noise from the...

Scientifically, you would be correct: more airflow should allow for hot air to move over the load more quickly, thereby spending less time heating it, and making it less harsh, as opposed to more. I cannot speak for anyone else, but in my case I am fairly certain that it has to do with my being...

    Arizer Solo

It's simple: you're getting a lot more airflow through the unit. Using any sort of external air chamber is almost like having an extra set of lungs :). You suck air through the water tool, which then sucks air through the Solo into the chamber of the device, instead of straight into your lungs...

I would love to hear about your experiences doing this, since I have a terribly sensitive pallet, and everything I own except for my Da Buddha tastes like steel to me :(.

Buying a starter vape for a friend -- Arizer Solo or ???

Now that I own a 2014 Solo, since mine from 2012 was just returned under warranty, I have to admit that it seems like a much more refined device (as I have over in the Solo thread). Please take my above comments about the Solo to be an indicator of group performance as far as the 2012 model is...

Why not just get a bent Stem with the four-hole design, and then shove a more restrictive screen in there? For example, I got some with my African Blackwood Stem that are so fine they are pretty much impossible to inhale air through after a session or two.

More often than not, it is on my Macbook Air (11-inch, late 2010 model). Sometimes I use my desktop.

It has nothing to do with taking anyone's word for it, but the fact that no human being can tell what another complete stranger over the internet is thinking, feeling, or aware of. A conditional statement was made in the form of "If you understood how the heater works". Go around telling people...

I never said, nor intended to suggest that there was voodoo, Wicca, or any other kind of magic going on ;). I was merely relating that in my experience the unit behaves the same way, with the heater LED barely lighting up at all, so as to assure our good friend @biohacker that there is nothing...

I got mine yesterday, and it is no glitch. I am running a stem at 6 as we speak, and once it heats up the only, and I mean only time the Heat LED kicks in is when I draw on the unit. Even then, it might flash 3 times, at most.

I find that my African Blackwood Stem needs to be run at 7, and for prolonged periods of time. I think that the steel needs more time to heat up and conduct into the load than the glass does. This is probably why your results were lacking if you kept heating it up, and cooling it off by taking...
