Yeah, I think the Bender is 18mm, so you could get a 18mm-14mm female adapter and then have the NX sit on top of the 14mm. Head shops sometimes have smaller mm adapters so yeah, totally possible. I like @ataxians approach better though.

Thanks G. So do you think a drip pan is feasible? I find the worst part about leaks is having to clean the slotted shaft and bottom of the ceramic rod. Fitting a drip pan above these pieces would keep oil off of them, and maybe also the bottom contact piece.

If you add a regular load, which for a 40% coil is .3 saturation, .3 load, I would feel pretty comfortable adding .2 extra. So yes .8 in your 40 coil, maybe more if you treat it right.
