    Discontinued Inhalater XP

I'm sorry to hear about everyone having problems with the Inhalater, I hope they get the issues resolved quickly as I agree it does seem better than the Pax when it does work. Given the continued issues I'm happy to have gone with the Pax for now but will definitely want to try an Inhalater...

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

Does the Pax remember your temperature setting after being turned off and back on? Does it stay at the temperature you set until you change it to something else yourself? Or does it default back to medium when you turn it off and back on? What temperature do you guys start and end at? Would...

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

As I said I don't have my Pax yet, but are the issues with the power switch/mouthpiece sensor not working well? If so I think a magnetic switch would without a doubt be the most reliable solution, they could simply have a small magnet under the mouthpiece and a magnet switch (sensor) sealed off...

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

I don't have my Pax yet but I do like the mouthpiece also being the power switch, I do however find the button under the mouthpiece to be strange, but at least you can't accidentally change the temp like with many other vapes so it's a plus at the same time. It's not only remembering to push...

Which herbs should I get rid of?

I have a drawer packed full of legal herbs since years that I never vape. I will list the ones I have and I would like to know which ones I should get rid of either due to them not having positive effects or having negative effects like being addictive. Here are the herbs I have: -Damiana...

An LED light would take about 1% the power the oven does, battery life would be virtually exactly the same, even if it stayed on all the time during use. I don't really think it's a great idea anyway, is it that hard to turn on the light or use another light source?

I don't see the point of that on a vape, plus you'd have to be EXTREMELY careful of where you touch/hold it as you would constantly be turning it on/off/up/down etc everytime you accidentally touched the screen. That's one feature I hope they never do, and doubt they will for all the problems it...

I understand but there are different sizes of screens, if you get one too small the herb will fall from the edges, if it's too big it won't fit properly. I already have several diameter screens for my LSV, hopefully one of the sizes I have will be a good fit. Thanks

Great idea, but what size/diameter screens fit? I don't yet have my Pax so I can't measure the oven size. Thanks

I seem to remember you go in party mode not by shaking it but by rolling it along its length 3 times.

    Discontinued Inhalater XP

I probably will get an Inh XP later once I no longer see issues being reported, I agree that it does seem more efficient when it works, but there seem to still be too many issues. I will be selling my Solo once I get the Pax though. Thanks

    Discontinued Inhalater XP

I did consider the older Inhalater which seemed more reliable (at least the last versions of it, as it too had problems initially). I have a Solo and really don't mind the restricted flow, in fact I find it helps generate denser vapor by forcing the airflow to be slow. I'm also not entirely...

If you hold it really, really still, you could vape at 300 while it's in power save mode lol. One cool function would be if you could connect it to a PC to program what 3 temperatures you want preset.

I couldn't decide between the Pax and Inhalater XP and ended up deciding on the Pax. The reason is that so many are having the XP fail within days or weeks of use with some in the XP thread asking things like "Has anyone actually had an XP that still worked after 2 weeks?" That was enough to...

    Discontinued Inhalater XP

I ended up getting a Pax due to all the issues people seem to be having with the XP, I don't want to be stuck returning it for repairs all the time as many here seem to be doing, Maybe when/if they get the bugs worked out I'll get one, but for now it seems to have too many problems. I also...

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

How many users have had their Pax fail? I read about a few Inhalater XPs failing quickly but haven't read about any Pax's failing, have I just not seen the posts (haven't read even 10% of this thread) or is it more reliable? Thanks

    Discontinued Inhalater XP

I understand, but the THC isn't magically dissapearing just because of conduction heating the herb, the vapor mostly stays "within" the herb until you inhale, but I do agree it would still lower the efficiency if left idling often. However I plan on using my next portable, whichever it will...

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

Thanks for the official answer. The battery life at 1:47 on high/idle is actually quite good, but of course the moment you start inhaling you increase the power usage considerably because you're pulling away heat and it then needs to heat more to get back to temperature so it would last less...

    Discontinued Inhalater XP

That is one thing that bothers me with the Pax but I figured I could always do a 50/50 mix with mint or basil or tea if I wanted a half load. Could you not also just load it fully but extend the load to 2 sessions instead of 1? I'm still leaning more towards the Pax but you are making me...

    Discontinued Inhalater XP

Isn't the Inhalater also constantly heating your load? As does the Solo I have now. I've seen videos of the Inhalater on a water tool and you clearly see the second the user starts inhaling there is vapor, this is only possible if the load is being heated when not inhaling. With my LSV where...
