Urgently need new vape, what's a good one at $150-300?

Thanks, but I got lost with many of those acronyms. What is: HI, VHW, VAS, MV, EVO? I thought there was an acronym thread but I can't find it.

Urgently need new vape, what's a good one at $150-300?

Since it would be as a temporary/emergency vape I think I would get the da buddha instead of the SSV, I actually find the design nicer and more logical with the temp control on the front instead of back (but what's with the power light on the back when there's plenty of room for it on the...

    Volcano

Thanks, in case you missed it I've had the Volcano classic twice before so I know how good it is, but want to go for the Digit this time. I would definitely get the solid valve again which is the one I had on my first 2, I'm the one that said I think it's infinitely better due to the adjustable...

Urgently need new vape, what's a good one at $150-300?

Interesting, but what's the difference between a da buddha and the SSV? Edit: I looked into the da buddha and it seems to be described as a lower end SSV but to me I actually prefer the design with the knob on the front (is it me or the power light is on the back?) At $135 I'm very likely to...

Urgently need new vape, what's a good one at $150-300?

I'm now quite certain I'll go with the Volcano Digit but will delay my purchase due to the price to save up a bit, I hope to be able to buy it within a month. However, I was wondering if there are log/whip style vapes that don't cost too much (ideally $150 or less) that would be worth having in...

    Volcano

I'm quite sure I'm going to get a Volcano for a third and hopefully final time, and I decided I'll go with the Digit for the first time. I keep reselling it thinking I've found something better only to later find out it really isn't. My current vape is the LSV which at first I thought was better...

Urgently need new vape, what's a good one at $150-300?

About everything else on this circuit is digital (PC, modem, router, laser printer, projector, etc.) and never had the slightest issue. The power fluctuations are normal for appliances on the same circuit as a space heater, the voltage drops from about 121-122 volts when the space heater is...

    The Herbalizer

I did have a Volcano with solid valve years ago and while the bowl is huge, the ingenious telescoping top filter holder allows the size of the chamber to be adapted from tiny to huge. AFAIK it's the only vape with an adjustable size chamber.

Urgently need new vape, what's a good one at $150-300?

The fluctuating voltage is certainly why its performance has been inconsistent, but if you're saying that's why it physically broke into pieces that's absurd, fluctuating voltage doesn't cause appliances to fall apart or wires to crack. The reason your SSV lasted so long is because it's a...

Urgently need new vape, what's a good one at $150-300?

I do have a Pax and used to have a Solo (I found the chamber too small). I am really leaning towards the Volcano Digit with the price being the only issue. Maybe if my LSV can last me a few weeks more I'll get the Volcano, otherwise the HerbalAire or EQ seem like good options. I really liked...

    Volcano

It wasn't always falling, I had a Volcano for many many years and it fell twice in that time. I would think the digit would be much more resistant to a fall than the fragile temp control of the classic.

Urgently need new vape, what's a good one at $150-300?

These types of pumps are so simple the chances of them ever failing are virtually none (they are designed to run 24/7 for several years), so you have a constant inconvenience of needing to plug 2 devices in (I only have 1 free outlet and would need a splitter), then connecting hoses from one...

    The Herbalizer

I didn't know you could do that, but the Herbie is already quite a bit more expensive than even the Volcano Digit, and just the solid valve costs more than some vaporizers, so that just gets the cost ridiculously high so I'd rather get a Volcano digit.

    Volcano

I already had a Volcano twice which is why I know I like it. I also don't necessarily want digital temperature control, just analog/mechanical temperature control (like the Volcano classic) would be fine too. However my Volcano classic fell twice off the table right onto it's temp adjustment...

Urgently need new vape, what's a good one at $150-300?

I actually do have a voltage meter on the circuit I use my vape on because I have a UPS that displays the line voltage on its front LCD, but I don't want to be constantly looking at the voltage thinking "The voltage just dropped by 8 volts, I need to crank up the vape, oh there is goes back up...

    Volcano

I was considering the herbalizer but a review update says the bags and valve rip after only a few weeks which isn't acceptable at its price. The Volcano valve lasts forever and it costs less (the vape not the valve). I do have an LSV which was great but it's now falling apart and because 7th...

    The Herbalizer

I've been looking for a new vape and was almost considering this one or a Volcano but an update to a review that was good says the bags and valve don't last long before they start to rip. For this reason I think I'll go with a Volcano (I had 2 before and it's rock solid).

    PLENTY Vaporizer

Thanks, but I'm now leaning more towards a volcano with solid valve as I like its adjustable size chamber (the newer easy valve has the same sort of fixed size chamber as the plenty) so I don't need to use and clean pads for smaller amounts.

Urgently need new vape, what's a good one at $150-300?

Please read my other posts in this thread. The voltage fluctuates significantly where I live due to limited circuits so "dumb" vaporizers like this are a pain to use in my situation as the temperature fluctuates with the voltage. A vape with real temp control maintains stable temperature even...

Urgently need new vape, what's a good one at $150-300?

Thanks, but the SSS doesn't have active temperature control which I need.
