Carb capping helps to achieve the Leidenfrost Effect. this allows dabbing at temperatures lower than those that would cause vaporization without the aid of a carb cap.

It can depend on the oil you are using. Right now I'm using the Ti nail w/ Quartz insert and vortex cap. Temp is set at 700F. They recommend to add 100F for the insert. So 560-650F for me. For low temp carb capping.

Before I got my Errlectric Enail, my fave was a Quartz banger. I also have a HE DualTi and carb cap. IMO the carb cap is nearly as important as the nail. Not necessarily the material it's made of, rather, the fit. Low temp dabs with a carb cap are where it's at!

Ok ZION nation. As promised, I finally found an 18mm m/m adaptor that fits Loki. So here are the 2 variations on the whip/adaptor theme for attachment to WP. I dont have an extra hand to do video now but it's coming. Thanks to @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd for the Eyeball adaptors(remember these?). Also...

That's a different animal indeed. I have worried about that myself. Probably why I don't use it for dabs very often. I'm not sure what they recommend. But the holes are "rifled" slits. You might try some small gauge wire to ream it out.
