Are these newer versions still garbage? We ordered a colored ti beginning of Nov hoping they have it sorted out. The estimated ship time was 4 weeks, as of today the order just says processing or something.

Check out the "capsules" used with the Herbalaire, also known as the crucible. Never had any problems cleaning them or with anything getting caught inside them. Super easy to clean as well, just drop into iso... Capsules has my vote for sure.

They'd still be in the same spot. The wooden cover would slide over them and lock in somehow making the Nomad look like one solid piece of wood besides that nice brass line showing.

No idea. I'm just saying. But the bottom plate edges would be straight inline with the body. They're angled because I didn't take much time with the mockup...it was bothering me.
