I think I'm missing something here - I cant see a rip. I can see the folded screen at the 'head' of the trench slightly raised with some build-up behind making it stick out. If that's what your talking about just brush it out and smooth back with the back of your brush. Otherwise the rip eludes me.

One of my favourite features of the MF is that you can just take a hit or two and put it down. When I'm at work I only do 1 trench in a 12 hour night shift. I take a hit or two every 30 mins-ish and it keeps me 'happy' all shift :D

Absolutely agree. For the price and versatility it really is a great machine. I love that the guys on here are all so innovative with their modifications, but I honestly don't think it needs it - for my needs anyway.

Sounds like natural degradation to me. Where do you store your jars - in the open or in a box/cupboard? Also are they air tight jars? Air leaking and light both speed up the degradation process leaving your bud less potent and less flavourful. If you don't have air tight jars it really is...

Try soaking with washing powder and water over night. Just make sure you pour in a little water first and mix it up before pouring in more. Give it 12 hours and then do your usual ISO soak after. I do this on my 10-arm tree perc when they get gunked from me using oils. It works a treat ime.

To clean wood stems you can still use high% ISO. Use a qtip or pipe cleaner and make damp not wet. Run through the tube a couple of times, and wipe off using a dry qtip/pipe cleaner - just be quick about it and don't let the alcohol sit on the wood and you'll be ok.

Yup, using a silicone head from Alan with some full melt mixed in. I find that the silicone takes a lot longer to roast the herb, allowing me to finish off the oil before the herb is coal.
