I only have 4 intake holes in the base to restrict the air flow a bit. The WW does not get as hot as the HI so needs a bit of a slower draw speed - also takes longer to get up to operating temp - around 15mins as opposed to the HI's 5mins.

The airflow on the HI is less restricted by about 15% (approx). This is an intentional design on my part as that WW does not get quite as hot as the HI due to the extra mass of SS the WW carries. So, reducing the air flow a bit causes a slower draw allowing more time for the heat to penetrate...
