    Vape vs. Burn

I am excited that there will be more research on this in the future. With legalization in Colorado and Washington, both states with great universities, it's only a matter of time before we see some real numbers.

    MJ and Bipolar Disorder

I think you might be on to something here. Many (all?) mood stabilizers (the medication given for bipolar disorder) are anti-convulsants. I had forgotten about the favorable research with MJ, CBD specifically, and epileptic seizures. This makes me wonder if high CBD strains would be more...

    MJ and Bipolar Disorder

You know, I've been thinking about this a little more. I understand that pharmaceutical medication is something many people would like to avoid. But bipolar disorder is pretty high risk. If you're going the herbal route, I'd find a therapist that you trust enough to disclose your MJ use to and...

    Vapes in hotels

I haven't vaped MJ in a hotel room but I have used my e cig with no lingering smell at all. At home, the smell of any vape session is gone within minutes. If you're worried just brew a pot of that awful coffee they have in the rooms. That would drown out any smell before housekeeping came by.

    Vape vs. Burn

Since getting my herbalizer, I find I start at 360ish and end about 400 or 420. I'm just experimenting with what worse best for pain for me. The only problem is that my gi distress is alleviated the following day, not immediately so I don't get quick feedback.

    MJ and Bipolar Disorder

I'm glad to hear that it helps. Do you know what strains work best? Dosage and frequency? Just trying to gather some data.

    The Herbalizer

I used a bag for the first time yesterday. I loved it! My wife and I just sat sipping from the bag while watching an episode of Justified. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The bag filled up quickly and there was no noticeable leakage.

    MJ and Bipolar Disorder

[NB: I'm a psychologist but the thoughts I'm posting here are not clinical advice, just my own experience in working with clients who have used MJ and have bipolar disorder or other mood disorder.] I don't think that there's any direct correlation between MJ use and either improvement or...

Dr. told me I should quit

Let me elaborate a little since I'm not on my phone now. I'm a psychologist, so I know a thing or 2 about depression. While it may be the case that low testosterone is correlated with depression, it's only a correlation. More likely than anything, however, is that it's a spurious one. That is...

Cool music to vape to, you know the tunes that move you

My Bloody Valentine, Loveless. I've loved this album for a really long time and vaping while listening just takes it to a whole new level. I can hear so much better and the music really moves me.

    CBD & Inflammatory Bowel Disease....

I love this article. The only thing that makes me feel better is an end of day vape session. It's not about getting high for me. It's the feeling of having that knot on my insides untied. It's miraculous.

What STRAIN works the best for your condition?

Someone asked about a strain for crohns or general GI distress. I'd love to hear from the experts on this. I'm currently using Jack Herer and Deadhead OG. Not sure the make up of the deadhead but it has a more indica feel to me. But I am most definitely a n00b when it comes to this stuff.
