I saw the oil sizzle and bubble as it burned. Also, there is a black residue left over after i burn it completely. The residue is darker than the bho, and it appeared like the res even had little bubbles in it too.

What's the foil test? Put a flame below tin foil with bho on it, and see what's left behind? Right?

I got the same honeycomb bent neck piece Clouded Vision got for my friend. This thing is really nice. The glass is very sturdy and the honeycomb perc is ultra smooth. I'm thinking about ordering a fritted piece for myself to replace my EHLE tube. Hmmmmmm.

Glass>Wood IMO. Glass is a preferred airpath compared to wood. Also, the GVG can be completely soaked to clean it I believe.
